Near Real-Time Monitoring | Virunga Volcanoes

Goma Volcano Observatory, with the help of several Belgian-Luxembourgian projects, installed and maintains various geophysical instruments for the monitoring of the volcanoes: seismic, infrasound, GNSS, gas, ground temperature and weather stations.

Some of the monitoring techniques are available in (near) real-time at the Goma Volcano Observatory (D.R.C.), RNRA (Rwanda) and ECGS (Luxembourg).
